    Dr. Seonghwan Cho at Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) seeks a Post Doc to join him at INDOT and Purdue University under the Joint Transportation Research Program. The candidates should have a solid background mainly on asphalt materials characterization and FWD analysis to help out with an ongoing research project for at least 2 years.

    Dr. Jenny Liu at Missouri University of Science and Technology seeks a Post Doc to join her materials and pavement group. The candidate will assist Dr. Liu in 1) developing and leading projects in transportation infrastructure, 2) preparing and contributing to technical reports/publications/presentations, 3) contributing to, or directing the preparation, presentation, and follow-up of proposals, and 4) managing the research group and the lab.  The candidate should have solid academic background and experience in one or more of the following areas: pavement engineering, infrastructure materials, and geotechnical engineering. The candidate must be self-motivated, autonomous and work efficiently with strong work ethic and a good team spirit. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.     The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Nevada, Reno is recruiting for a Laboratory Manager for the Pavement Engineering & Science Program (PES). This is a full-time, 12-month position in a vibrant and exciting academic department with an accredited engineering program. This position is soft-funded and renewable contingent on funding availability. The Laboratory Manager for the Pavement Engineering and Science (PES) Program provides support to faculty and students to ensure accurate and timely research project progression.  This position creates systems to evaluate and analyze materials based on project needs, identifies equipment and materials needed for project completion and to track and report project progress.  The ideal candidate will develop and enforce lab safety procedures, train and mentor students working in a lab setting, and dispose of materials upon completion of experimentation. The position reports to the Director of the Pavements Engineering & Science Program within the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering under the College of Engineering at UNR. The position is expected to be filled as soon as suitable candidate is selected, but no earlier than January 1, 2022.

    The School of Computing and Engineering at the University of West London (UK) invites applications for a Post-Doc Research Fellow position in Applications of Remote Sensing Techniques and Methods (InSAR) (3 Years FTC). The successful candidate should have a strong theoretical knowledge of current InSAR and satellite imaging practice for civil and environmental engineering applications, including transport infrastructure monitoring, and ability to teach relevant subjects at both undergraduate and postgraduate level in higher education. The successful applicant will also contribute significantly to develop and prepare bids for obtaining externally funded research projects and working as part of a team of researchers within the Faringdon Research Centre of the University (part of the School of Computing and Engineering).

    The Asphalt Institute (AI) has begun the search for a full-time Sustainability Engineer.  The selected individual will lead the expansion of AI’s programs and efforts related to asphalt binder sustainability.  

    The preferred location is Lexington, Kentucky at AI HQs, however other locations will be considered, if they are within a 4-hour travel radius by auto or commercial air.
