• Applicants must have both a bachelor's degree and a Ph.D. in civil engineering or a closely related field before the appointment start date.

• Expertise in traffic engineering, transportation operations, transportation planning, transportation safety, transportation sustainability and resilience, transportation data science, connected and autonomous vehicles, smart infrastructure, or logistics.

• Demonstrated commitment to contributing to a culture that supports diversity and inclusion.
